去年イギリスAMOS TOYのボス　ラッセルとデザイナーのジェームスがBxHの事務所に遊びに来た時にこのオモチャの構想が出来上がりました！ラッセルとは前からの知り合いで　自分がいつも革ジャンに付けているディスチャージDrギャリーのバッチを指差し「俺友達ダヨ」だって！チョーヤバイ！そのあと「俺アポカリプスツアー見に行ったよ！」完全ノックアウトです！
アポカリプスツアーとは１９８１年イギリスでEXPLOITED / DISCHARGE / ANTI-PASTE / CHRON-GENが一緒にやったツアーです！
速攻で「何か当時のグッズ持ってないの？」と聞いたら「多分そのライブのチケット持ってるから　探しておくよ！」だって
当時のイギリスのパンクの話を色々教えてくれるので嬉しいです。
そんな彼が一緒にオモチャ作ろうと言われたら　やるに決まってるでしょう！！！
自分はAMOS TOYのキングコングのオモチャが好きだからスカルクンとキングコングが合体したオモチャが良いと言ってラッセルとDISCHARGEの話してるスキに　このオモチャのデザインをジェームスがササッと書いた！
それがこのオモチャです！名前はジェームスが「KING-KUN?!」「OK!!」
パンクの話８０％オモチャの話２０％で楽しい一時でした！

ON THE ROAD WITH BIG JOHN

ON THE ROAD WITH BIG JOHN is a half hour original video program about fulfilling one's dreams. It is produced through the facilities of the Digital Media Factory of Santa Cruz, California 'ON THE ROAD...' is intended to launch a thirteen part series where the central character Big John, with his crew, motivate and provide the means for hot rod owners to get their stalled dream car projects out of the garage and back on the street.

OUTLINE OF SHOW:
Big John's crew comes together as a team to build a custom 1931 Model A Ford pickup owned by artist Jim Phillips. It takes all the ingenuity and collective experience of John's crew to completely strip the rod to the bare frame, correct all the engineering problems, and replace the original frame with a high end custom unit. The show also features archival footage of Big John and team member Gary Partlow when they were riding and building custom motorcycles long ago in Santa Cruz. This footage to be provided by John Carney, Director. The use of Phillips original art work within the story will give the show a unique visual structure. The art work will also help to give historical context to car, motorcycle, and surf culture in Santa Cruz. The colorful central character is Big John with a larger than life personality who keeps the audience informed throughout the entire process. Big John also provides entertainment by offering his original brand of automotive advice, personal philosophy from a lifetime of misadventures, and spontaneous sharing of humorous anecdotes.
